Somebody Prayed For You

                                                   Somebody prayed for you today
when your feet ached and your back grew sore
and your heavy burdens weighed you down
and you cried aloud, "please God no more"
                                                   Somebody prayed for you today
when you were sad and you felt alone
and you vainly reached for the yesterdays
and the simple joys that you had known

                                                   Somebody prayed for you today
when nothing seemed to turn out right
and you longed for a friendly voice and smile
with never a living soul in sight
But somebody prayed for you today
within whose heart you'll always be
and the dear Lord listened and blessed us both
For the one who prayed was me

                                                   Grace E. Easley

I want to give you all an update on my niece. She got to come home today. They can't do anymore surgeries for three months until her body heals some from her ordeal and other surgeries. She has several more to go and they won't know if she will ever walk again for about two years. They will be doing therapy on her while she's home. She will have round the clock care, as she will be in a hospital bed. Her family has their hands full and still need prayers.. They are overwhelmed with so much caring, love and support. I know with God's help she will overcome this tragedy and they will make it.. Thank you all for your wonderful prayers and caring.. Please continue to pray.. May God Bless Each One.. Susie

  6. Hi Susie, oh how wonderful to hear that Amber was able to go home! I know it isn't the homecoming everyone would have wished and she still has so far to go and needs so much care, but I know her heart will rest better at home and her healing will pick up the pace. Have a lovely day ahead! Delisa :)

  7. Hi Susie, I forgot to tell you how beautiful the poem is. It brought tears to my eyes, especially the part about the "sore back". When you hurt all the time it can make you feel a little isolated and to know that some one is praying for you and caring about you enough to talk to our heavenly Father is so comforting and hope-inspiring. I am going to make a copy of this poem and put it in my Bible. Thank you so much! Delisa :)

  14. That poem is beautiful!!
Now with you niece..when the weather is fine, get her outside to breath the fresh air, it holds 19-21% O2 and that feeds every cell in the body, it helps with healing (I hope she is not a smoker, because that hinders healing.) Make sure she drinks 6 glasses of water a day. It flushes the kidneys and detoxes the liver...Keep these two healthy and she will florish. Lastly, get her to take two magnesium tablets every night, they are the miracle mineral. Do a research on the net... 'Benefits of Magnesium' and read up on it yourself. In the old days people put a teaspoon of epsom salts in water daily and drank it. Magnesium is epsom salts. There are live foods and dead foods.. Eat fresh mostly, or if not then frozen, but keep away from too much processed foods or tin foods..There is very little goodness in them. What she would benefit from is fresh fruit and vegetables juiced!! God bless you all. xx
