A million prayers rise upward from the sod
If they would only listen as they speak
Out of the silence they would hear you, Dear God
The sad who seek to find you through their tears
The broken hearts crying out in agony and pain
You've always been there through toil and strife
Faith of a mustard seed is but a tiny grain
Though mountains are high and valleys low
There is splendor above and light over head
You've heard each cry and saw each tear
And every prayer that's been spoken or said
The human heart you placed within the breast
Set there to run untouched from birth to death
Is where faith should dwell and laughter ring
Every day and night as long as there is breath
All the promises you made should stand above
A world of despair and cries should not dismay
You are the rock from which we should stand
Those who seek the highest shall never lose their way

I want to give ya'll a quick update as some of you are bound to be wondering about me. I've been down quite sick for a while and they've turned me upside down and determined it's some kind of Auto Immunine Disease. I'm waiting to see a Specialist to evaluate me and try to find some answers. It could be Lupus, Fibro etc. They just don't know because all of that is clinical and can't be found in a blood test.
I can't sit up for long periods of time since I get so sick and the tremendous weakness. I know alot of you have sent Emails, posted comments and I'm so sorry I haven't got back to some of you yet or visited your Blogs and read your wonderful posts. You all are very special to me and I wish I had the strength to visit each of you and do what I love to do. But maybe in time they will find what it is and with God's help and if it's his Will I'll be back to my old self and feel more up to it. Many thanks to each one of you for your prayers and I have surely felt them. God has carried me for a while and he will continue to stick by me, regardless of the outcome. I want you all to know I'm thinking of you and praying for you as well. May God Bless all of you and thank you for your patience and understanding. God Bless, Susie

Thank you for the update, Susie.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry about trying to keep up with everything right now...the important thing is that you get some rest.
You know you are being prayed for, and yes...God is good at picking us up and carrying us when we need help.
God willing...you will be back to yourself in no time.
My husband became very, weak and sick a few years ago, and it was an auto-immune disease: Rheumatoid Arthritis.
~Patiently praying~

Oh Susie, I'm so sorry you're having to go through this. I just don't have words to express my feelings. We will continue to pray for comfort and healing for you. Don't worry about keeping up with the blog; focus on God's love and will for you. I love you Susie.
ReplyDeleteHi Susie, thank you for letting me know that you are going through. My goodness, those tests leave you feeling like a human pin cushion sometimes. I know the fatigue is so bad now, but when they decide what treatment it will get better with time. In the meantime dear friend, don't give up hope, they are finding new things out there everyday. Fatigue is one of those issues that can also go into remission for periods of time, so you may not always feel as bad as you do right now. Something that really helps me when the chronic fatigue kicks in is to get as much natural sunlight as possible at least 20 min a day. They also had me start taking D3 supplements. You might ask your doctor, I saw a lot of improvement after about two weeks. Anyway my friend hang in there and know that we all understand when you don't write, it happens to me too from time to time. Just rest and do what you need to so that you can make it through your days. You are one of the sweetest persons I have ever met and it won't be long now and they will have have an idea what to do. Rest well tonight and until next time... With Love, Delisa :) I will keep you in my prayers too. Remember to keep your sense of humor! As hard as it to do, a good hearty laugh at ourselves or at some unsuspecting friend or family member is sometimes just what we need. Pleasant dreams!
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry Susie that you have to go through this. Hopefully answers will come soon. I went through a lot before they determined I had Fibromyalgia. I manage it well now...stress is such a trigger. I pray peace and comfort for you. You will get better!!
ReplyDeleteHello on a gorgeous, spring day in TENNESSEE. Wow---after the long and bitter winter we had this year, Spring is even more inviting and lovely.
ReplyDeleteI hope and pray that they find out what is wrong with you, and that they can 'fix' it --so that you can feel better. God Bless You... We all love you and your beautiful poems.
We are now home 'again' --after our 5th trip since the end of February.... Seems as if we visited five different states --although the trips weren't planned for that reason... ha... BUT--as I always say, it's great to be home... I did publish a blog post today--so check it out when you have time. Have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs,
Betsy
This is poem is beautiful, and I hope it's ok with you I'm printing it out to keep at my office desk. I had Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction for over 3 years and they only called it that as they couldn't find anything wrong with me. It was very trying. I hope they tested you for metals as the didn't mean and it turned out here I had high lead levels in my blood from nearby industry pollution. Praying for you.
ReplyDeleteSusie,
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear that you are so sick, weak, and can only sit up for a period of time. I hope and pray the doctors will soon learn what's going on, and give you some medicine that will heal you. I'm really sorry you're having a hard time now. I sure will remember you in my prayers and pray for a quick recovery. Is there anything I can do for you?
Love,
Brenda
Just to say I am thinking of you and still praying. Hope soon you know exactly what is wrong and they find the right treatment. Sending love and hugs. God's blessings you right now!
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful poem, Susie. I'm sorry to hear you are still feeling ill. I hope the doctor can find out soon what is wrong and figure out what to do to help you. Hope you feel better soon. Prayers for you.
ReplyDeleteSusie, I am so sorry. That is just not good at all. I'll believe with you that soon and very soon the source of the problem will be discovered and remedied. Matthew 18:19, the two of us agree, and I'm sure many more.
ReplyDeleteLove you,
Elaine
Susie,
ReplyDeleteJust checking to see if you are feeling better. I hope you will just well soon and have a very Happy Easter!
