The Many Faces Of A Child

                                                              My granchildren

                                                        It surpasses all understanding
                                                        This joy that abounds
Like a tiny seed I'll grow
                                                        Abundant love that surrounds

                                                      I'll capture your very heart
                                                      And all others in between
                                                      Look into my eyes mom
                                                      Can you see the gleam

Can you feel my heart beat
As I lie upon your breast
                                                       God made it with love
To give you only the best

                                                       Every smile that I give
                                                       Is worth so much more
                                                       And each sleepless night
I promise I'll make up for

                                                             Chris ( my son)

Hey dad, can you hear me now
                                                       I'm learning to talk
                                                       Be patient with me mom
I just want to run and walk

                                                      When I become a handful
                                                       Don't worry and be sad
                                                       I'm just little for now
                                                       Soon we'll go fishing dad

Bentley ( my great grandson )

I want to explore and learn
There's so much waiting for me
                                                        Everything looks brand new
This big world is a mystery

Connor ( my great nephew )

                                                        Sickness may come my way
Hug me tight in your arms
                                                        Tomorrow will be brighter
                                                        I promise laughs and charms

Avery ( my great niece )

                                                       And please don't cry mom
                                                       When I start to school
You know that I love you
                                                        I'll never break that rule

Leah ( my great niece )

Braeden ( my great nephew )

                                                        Then when I grow older
I want to spread my wings
                                                        Like a small butterfly
                                                        I'll sail with my dreams

Isabella ( my great niece )

Bentley ( my great grandson )

                                                    Clear across the sea
                                                    To that grown up land
Each day I'm one step closer
                                                    Enjoy me while you can

                                                            Tyler ( my grandson )

                                                            Taryn ( my grandaughter )

                                                Hey look at me now
I hung the stars that shine
I hope I've made you proud
To the moon I'm going to climb

                                                                Bentley and Maria
