It was great! I played in an old barn, which was left until it fell down. One time it held a rabid cow and later Daddy made some picture frames for me from a board taken from the stall where she was kept. That was a frightening time for our family. The last time I saw the barn, it had fallen in, but there were the remains of a little cabinet Daddy had made for my sister. I wanted it so badly but it was unsafe to try to get it out.lil red henhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15494641068959278096noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7542626754689382068.post-72615291153979406102015-07-28T09:10:26.331-07:002015-07-28T09:10:26.331-07:00Nice video, Susie. I hate to see wood go to waste also. Good thing that the barn was used to decorate somebody's home.MunirGhiasuddinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05232362559666320301noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7542626754689382068.post-54303605578657216582015-07-27T17:48:43.235-07:002015-07-27T17:48:43.235-07:00Thank you Susie. We have a big picture of an old barn that hangs in our living room and my brother made the frame from the old barn that daddy built many years ago. I cherish it.. I love recycling wood as well.Susie Swansonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06052734156809316397noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7542626754689382068.post-45021825922011348142015-07-27T17:40:42.767-07:002015-07-27T17:40:42.767-07:00 Susie, I loved the music. Our neighbor down the road had his burned down by the fire department ...they do drills then...but boy what a waste of all that lumber. My house in town had a mantle made from old bridge boards...that were ran over for years by cars. There was a slight bow in it but I loved what it meant. The chimney was made of bricks from our old high school. There was meaning in our home. I absolutely love recycling wood and bricks. Blessings to you dear Susie. xoxo,SusieSusiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06425051654313691986noreply@blogger.com
